Ever since Coulson referenced a mysterious cellist he was seeing in “Marvel’s The Avengers,” fans have wondered who could have possibly stolen the agent’s heart–and soon they’ll get to meet her for the first time.
Amy Acker, of “Angel” and “Person of Interest” fame, will debut in an upcoming episode of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” as Audrey, the enigmatic “Cellist” and love of Coulson’s life. A talented musician turning heads in Portland, Audrey believes Phil Coulson to be dead and has no idea he’s guarding her from a distance, as a super-powered threat from her past re-emerges.
The episode will also mark a reuninon for Acker and Clark Gregg (Agent Coulson), as the two previously starred in 2012’s “Much Ado About Nothing,” directed by “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Executive Producer Joss Whedon.
Stay tuned for a first look at Amy Acker as Audrey from the episode as we chat with the actress right here on Marvel.com tomorrow, and don’t miss new episodes of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” beginning Tuesday, April 1 at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC!
