Podcast: #309 – Amy Acker on portraying Lois Lane in Superman: Red Son!

There’s another recent podcast with Amy, this time with Comic Book Central. Happy listening!

Gifted actress Amy Acker drops by the Lair to talk about her roles in Marvel’s Gifted & Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., acting alongside Michael Emerson in Person of Interest, being a part of the Whedon-verse in Angel and Dollhouse, bringing Lois Lane to life in Superman: Red Son, and being the only actress in history to be directed by William Shatner and Steven Spielberg in the same year!

‘Much Ado’ TV Morning Interviews

While we wait for new images from tonight’s events, I’ve added MQ screencaptures to the gallery from several TV morning interviews that Amy appeared on to promote Much Ado About Nothing; namely, ‘Good Morning Texas’ back in April & ‘New Day Seattle’, along with Alexis Denisof & Nathan Fillion. Many more interviews to be added shortly! Gallery links & previews are below, enjoy!

2 New Podcasts Featuring Amy

There are several brand new interviews with Amy in the form of podcasts — details are below — one of which seems to have personal photos of Amy included, she looked super cute in high school. Happy listening!

Nerd Appropriate: “We couldn’t be more excited to have Actress Amy Acker on the podcast to talk about TV (Angel, Dollhouse, Alias, and even S.H.I.E.L.D. ), film, Much Ado About Nothing, and… pickling? Is there anything she can’t do?!”

Nerdist: It’s a trip around the world with Episode 35’s guest Amy Acker (Person of Interest, Angel) — or at least a trip around Dallas, Japan, and pumpkin festivals, with a little high school drill team, country western dancing, and a horrible arachnid encounter thrown in for good measure. Plus a return to the classic, irrefutable fortune-telling game, M.A.S.H.!

The WB ‘Rant’ and Movie Caps

A bit of a mixed update today; I’ve added MQ screencaptures from the teaser trailer for The Accident to the gallery, as well as an online interview with The WB from 2003, during the 5th season of Angel. Gallery links and previews are below, enjoy!

‘Sharon Osbourne’ Screencaps

I figured we needed a break from scans, hence I took the time to make screencaptures of Amy’s appearance on ‘The Sharon Osbourne Show’ – although I’m afraid the caps aren’t in terribly good quality when viewed full sized. I’m also assuming that the appearance aired on January 13, 2004 since Amy is wearing the same outfit as this public appearance.

Unfortunately, the video is no longer online at YouTube, but I shall be adding it to the video archive once I have time to work on it; thanks to Maria for the heads up! Gallery link and previews are below, enjoy!
