‘Happy Town’ Q&A at WonderCon

Thanks to Ramblings of a TV Whore, you can now submit your questions to Amy and the cast & producers of Happy Town at WonderCon — which is being held on Saturday, April 3 — hopefully we’ll also get some pictures from this event! Details are below.

It’s that time again, folks! WonderCon is almost upon us, and RTVW Online will be hitting a couple press rooms. I will come with some questions of my own, but nothing is more annoying than sitting at a table and listening to other people ask all your questions before you get to them. So I am soliciting questions from you, our readers!

Happy Town: Geoff Stults, Amy Acker, M.C. Gainey, Josh Appelbaum, André Nemec, Scott Rosenberg
Full disclosure: I am only doing this to meet Amy Acker. Can you blame me? Come on now. That being said, this show did look intriguing in a Twin Peaks kind of way: small town, big murder, you know the drill. So I watched the first couple episodes provided by ABC.

After years of quiet following mysterious disappearances perpetrated by the “Magic Man,” the town of Haplin, Minnesota is rocked by a grisly murder. Everyone is down-home and folksy, and everyone has secrets, especially the out-of-towners, who don’t have to be folksy and have more room for secrets. For instance, there are a million flashing arrows pointing to creepy Sam Neill as the Magic Man, which means I am completely on the wrong track. The show is a bit disjointed tonally so far—Is it a supernatural murder mystery? Is it a small-town drama? And how do the Kaiser Chiefs fit in?—but there are some interesting reveals, and I am curious about several characters. It may be worth checking out, especially since it will be premiering when other shows are about to have their finales.

What have you heard about the show? What would you ask Geoff Stults, who looks distractingly like Peter Krause and whom you may know from October Road and 7th Heaven? Amy Acker, whom you may know from Angel, Alias, and Dollhouse? M.C. Gainey, whom you may know as Mr. Friendly from Lost (and has the most interesting character of the three actors present)? Or maybe you want to know what the producers have up their sleeves.
